May 4 is a special day for 'Star Wars' fans all over the world and that includes celebrities as well. A number of stars have taken to social media to celebrate the day and 'Wonder Woman' actor Gal Gadot was one of them.

To commemorate the occasion, the actor shared a video on Twitter of herself meeting Mark Hamill, Luke Skywalker himself, at the Oscars party. The Israeli star captioned the video, "And on this 4th of May I’ll never forget the moment I met the legendary Mark Hamill! May the force be with you all today! #MayThe4thBeWithYou @HamillHimself"

As wonderful as it was to see Wonder Woman fangirling over Luke Skywalker, it was even more fun to see him fanboy over her right back. Hamill retweeted the video writing, "And I'll always treasure the moment this fanboy met the wondrous woman that is @GalGadot! She was delightful, most gracious & much taller than a Stormtrooper. #FabulousForcefulFemme"

The fans of both actors are absolutely loving this moment, with one fan tweeting, "Luke and Diana were (are) always one step ahead of the competition!"

Another fan brought up Hamill's voice acting as the Joker in 'Batman: The Animated Series', a role that has probably gotten the actor more love than his 'Star Wars' performance. "It makes complete sense that the Joker made Wonder Woman laugh. Do you remember what you said to her, Mark?" wrote the user

Yet another fan talked about how sweet it is when famous celebrities get as starstruck as we do when they meet their heroes writing, "I’m sure she was a fan girl. ❤️I love when 'famous' people act as silly as we do."

Another fan declared, "I lost it at 'taller than a Stormtrooper.' XD"

It really was a very special moment for the stars and for the fans who got to see two of their favorite franchises colliding in the most beautiful way possible. What better treat to make 'Star Wars' Day extra special?
