Spotify billboards send Swifties on clue hunt to solve 'Taylor Swift puzzle' amid hope for 'Rep TV' reveal

'She was obviously the most streamed artist of the year so...' said a fan on social media

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Spotify has sparked a thrilling treasure hunt among Taylor Swift's fanbase, affectionately known as Swifties, with a series of intriguing billboards.

These billboards present a puzzle linked to the pop sensation, stirring up anticipation and excitement among fans for the potential unveiling of the re-recorded 'Reputation (Taylor's Version)' album, or, as fans call it, 'Rep TV'.

The Swift Society, on the platform commonly known as Twitter, shared what appears to be a Taylor Swift-themed puzzle. The caption accompanying the post read, "Spotify billboards with number 13, koi fish, dice and mirrorball." 

Taylor Swift's dedicated fanbase has been actively discussing various theories on social media platforms, including Reddit.

These theories revolve around the potential reveal of Rep TV and the significance of the clues they have discovered so far.

The Eras Tour also added the Taylor Swift puzzle amid Fans' anticipation for the 'Rep TV' reveal. 

One fan wrote on Reddit, "i got kinda nervy and thought it was rep tv. related but saw this on twitter ! i think we all knew this was coming tho." 

Another fan said, "Honestly I feel like it’s just Spotify announcing her as top global artist in a creative Swiftie way and I feel like Taylor isn’t coding anything extra in it. Also feels like Spotify is well-aware how hard we are clowning for rep tv that they’re playing into that."

Others have speculated that Swift might be the most streamed artist on Spotify ever.

A user on Reddit shared the tweet of The Swift Society and wrote, "It looks like there are white graphics that might spell something out?? Maybe announcing she’s the most streamed artist on Spotify ever?"

One fan wrote on X, "REPUTATION TV ARE COMING."

A Swiftie on X speculated, "this obviously means taylor is going to be spotify global artist of the year. cruel summer will be SOTY, and im not sure if the koo fish are a reference to speak now tv, midnights or both."

"Oh she’s planning something. Nothing is ever a coincidence," said another.

"well she was obviously the most streamed artist of the year so.." noted another.

A fan said, "The dice add up to 13, then the 13 Bead, then in the Spotify playlist this is the picture, there’s 8 bracelets… 13+13+8 = 34, in 34 days it will be New Year’s Day. The last song on the playlist is also New Year’s Day! The playlist has 74 songs.. in 74 days it’s Feb 10th."
