'Southern Charm' star Craig Conover named to Hope For The Warriors board council
Springfield, Virginia (Release): 'Southern Charm' star, entrepreneur and attorney, Craig Conover has been named to the Hope For The Warriors eight-member board council.
Celebrating 17 years of service, Hope For The Warriors assists veterans, service members and military families by providing financial, career and educational stability; physical and emotional strength; and social support that builds community.
Conover has participated in the past three Hope For The Warriors Celebrity Invitational golf tournaments and assisted with Hope’s Fort Campbell Food Drive this past December where 4,000 boxes of food were distributed to military families.
Conover is an original cast member of the Bravo network’s long-running reality show 'Southern Charm', which is based in Charleston, South Carolina. He is also the co-founder and CCO of Sewing Down South, a sewing and lifestyle brand and an attorney with his own law practice, Conover Law Firm, also based in Charleston.
“My passion has always been helping others, especially those who have served our country in the military,” said Conover. “Hope For The Warriors is a wonderful, giving nonprofit that allows me to take that passion to another level. The work that Hope does for our military families is life changing. I’m honored they’ve asked not only let me represent the organization at annual events, but to also select me to serve on its board council.”
Conover has earned a reputation as a philanthropist, using his platform to raise awareness for various charitable causes, including Hope For The Warriors. He is also active in community initiatives.
“We have seen Craig’s enthusiasm at some of our long standing events the past few years. He has really taken a point to connect with the military families at each event and to share what HOPE is all about with those in his personal circle,” said Robin Kelleher, co-founder and president of Hope For The Warriors. “He understands the ever changing needs of veterans, service members and their families and is passionate about supporting HOPE’s mission. All of these qualities make him a perfect fit for our board council.”
'Southern Charm', which completed its ninth season in January, follows the lives of socialites and professionals in Charleston. It focuses on the southern culture along with the history of the area.
