'Southern Charm' Season 8: Taylor and Shep end their relationship, fans say he's 'poor excuse of a real man'

Although Episode 5 didn't feature their breakup, it did give insight into why the couple ended their relationship

From fights to relationship drama, Season 8 of 'Southern Charm' is packing some real chaos. From internal feuds to struggling over exes, each of the cast members is dealing with a whole lot of issues that are all playing out on screen. And while finding love seems to be a big theme this season, some of the cast have a very different idea of love.

Shep Rose isn't exactly the poster boy of monogamy. And unfortunately, Taylor Ann Green has had to learn that the hard way. After he admitted to cheating allegations last season, it looks like Taylor continues to struggle when it comes to trust between them. And Shep, unsurprisingly, is doing little to help the situation. While the couple has already split in real-time, it looks like the show is now giving fans a look into what exactly went wrong.

As Shep spent time with Craig and Austen, Taylor was rightfully concerned about how he'd behave during a night out. This seemed to rub Shep the wrong way, who refused to have the topic be brought up over and over and wanted Taylor to trust him. However, Craig noted that Taylor had plenty of reason to worry, seeing that Shep was unlikely to change who he was. Her anxiety stemmed from his action and according to Craig, the more Taylor poked at the 'campfire', the more likely it was to set off the 'landmines and gasoline' that was Shep and his infidelity. Fans seemed just as exhausted as Taylor with the whole situation.

"Shep has def proven to everyone that he doesn't want kids, doesn't want to commit and doesn't care about Taylor's feelings. Cheats and then can't understand why his GF has infidelity fears.... When he's always been a cheater. This whole season blows. Need Cameron ASAP #SouthernCharm" added another. "Shep is not a good looking dude. He is sporting a boyish look right now but age will catch up with him and I predict he'll be the sleazy old rich guy at the end of the bar leering at all the younger woman. #sheprose #SouthernCharm" claimed another.
