‘Game of Thrones’ star Sophie Turner is reportedly expecting her first child. The 23-year-old British actor, who played Sansa Stark in the HBO fantasy series, and her husband Joe Jonas, the 30-year-old pop star, got married last year.

A source close to the couple told entertainment website Just Jared, “The couple is keeping things very hush hush but their friends and family are super excited for them.” Another source added to the website, “Sophie has decidedly been choosing outfits to wear on and off the carpet to accommodate her changing body.”

Representatives of both Turner and Jonas, however, are yet to comment on the reported news.

Turner and Jonas got married in Las Vegas in May of 2019, following which, they had their formal second wedding that summer in France a month later.

A few weeks after their marriage, the Daily Mail reported that Turner admitted that she was still getting used to calling Jonas her husband. “I keep going from boyfriend to fiance, to husband. I can't figure out what to say! ... It's early days but we're very happy.”

Speaking to Rolling Stone in March 2019 about how she never expected to get married in her early 20s, Turner said, “I was fully preparing myself to be single for the rest of my life. I think once you’ve found the right person, you just know. I feel like I’m much older a soul than I am in age. I feel like I’ve lived enough life to know. I’ve met enough guys to know — I’ve met enough girls to know. I don’t feel 22. I feel like 27, 28.”

Speaking to Glamour UK earlier that year, she said, “A lot of [my happiness now] is to do with being with a person I’ve fallen in love with, who loves me more than he loves himself, and who wants to see me find my own happiness. That was probably the biggest thing that pushed me to find who I am and find my happiness in things other than acting.”
