Snoop Dogg affiliate Bad Azz aka Jamarr Antonio Stamps, 43, dies in prison

The West Coast rapper had collaborated with 'Sensual Seduction' rapper Snoop Dogg and was briefly signed to Doggystyle Records.

West Coast rapper Bad Azz has died in jail at the age of 43 years old. 

The rapping legend was due to turn 44 years old on November 27 later this month. He was born as Jamarr Antonio Stamps and had been a member of the Dogg Pound. He had collaborated with 'Sensual Seduction' rapper Snoop Dogg and was briefly signed to Doggystyle Records. 

Daz Dillinger took to Instagram to confirm that Bad Azz had died. He wrote, "R I P TO THE HOMEY BAD AZZ @badazzlbc JAMAR STAMPS DPGC MEMBER". Besides being a part of 'Dogg Pound', he was also a part of the LBC Crew (Long Beach City Crew) which also included artists such as Lil C-style and Tray Dee. 

Bad Azz was very well known for his Jelly Roll-produced 'Wrong Idea' single that featured several artists such as Snoop Dogg himself, Kokane, and Lil’ ½ Dead or LBC’s 'Beware My Crew'. Bad Azz had also appeared on Tupac's album 'Makaveli' on song called Krazy. 

As of now, the details surrounding Bad Azz's death have not been disclosed. Many celebrities and fans and followers took to social media to share their heartfelt condolences. Snoop Dogg took to Instagram to share, "Damn. R. I. P. To my young. D. P. G. L. L. G. L. B. C. Crew original @badazzlbc gone 2 soon". 

Rapper Kokane shared, "Gone too soon … rest well Lil bro. U will be missed". As per the Jail Information Management System website for the Riverside County Jail, Bad Azz was arrested on November 8. He had been charged with a felony indicated by the code INFLIC CORP INJ SPSE/COH- which means he intentionally inflicted "corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant", domestic violence. 

Fans and followers commented, saying things like, "RIP! 🙏 Young legend", "Rest easy badazz", and "Damn RIH! Badazz was bad ass".
