SNL: Jennifer Lopez hits the gym ahead of highly anticipated return, beau Alex Rodriguez shares adorable workout video
Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are always in for a workout together and it is no surprise that the pair decided to hit the gym before Lopez's return to 'Saturday Night Live'.
The pair were in New York as Lopez was set to hit the 'Saturday Night Live' stage to host the show for the third time.
Hours before the show on Saturday, Rodriguez took to Instagram to share a video of Lopez prepping for her big day. "LIVE from New York, it’s game day prep for @nbcsnl," he wrote.
Lopez can be seen working out in white sports gear while Rodriguez opted for an all-black attire. The two complimented each other as they pushed one another to do their best. Fans were quick to applaud the pair for their dedication to leading a healthy life.
"She's Absolutely Gorgeous! Woo-Hoo can't wait to watch her tonight on SNL!" read one comment. Another added, "You guys are absolutely stunning killing it."
Others added that they were looking forward to watching her on SNL. "Wouldn't think of missing it!!" read one comment.
Another added, "So excited for it!!!"
Lopez also took to her Instagram to show some behind-the-scenes preparation for 'SNL'. Entering the studio to prepare for her hosting duties, Lopez acknowledged that she had forgotten how much work is required to ensure that everything goes right.
"I don't think I am funny," she said. "So, I just let the comedians do their thing. I think with SNL when someone is trying to host they just try to keep up. Try not to fall too far behind."
She said that while she has been on numerous sets, the SNL set is one of her favorite.
Lopez also opened up about why she loved being on SNL saying it is very different from what she's usually doing.
