‘Smashed it’: Weatherman Adam Krueger wins hearts for slipping Snoop Dogg lyrics into weather report

HOUSTON, TEXAS: A weatherman from Houston is viral after he used Snoop Dogg lyrics in a recent weather report. The rapper himself went on to repost clips of the broadcast by Adam Krueger, who works for CW39 Houston. Krueger is known for slipping lyrics into his broadcasts and even accepting requests. Recently, agreed to use some Snoop Dogg lyrics.

Selecting Snoop Dogg's 'Who Am I (What's My Name)' hit, Krueger dropped lines like "It's like that as a matter of fact rat tat tat tat" as he described weather fronts and rain forecasts. Snoop Dog shared the video on Instagram, captioning it, "Weather man on one," followed by a string of emojis.

'He is I and I am him'

A fan of Krueger previously requested him to slip Snoop Dogg lyrics into a broadcast, writing "Did you do Snoop Dogg already if not, can you do it please." The weatherman said he had done it before but would give it one more go. "I have done him before. 'Gin and Juice' in the past," Krueger said in a video introducing his broadcast. "Today though, I'm doing Who Am I (What's My Name), Yeah, challenge accepted."

Krueger started by saying "From the depths of the sea back to the block" and told people they could stay up to date with the weather if they "follow me, follow me, follow me," showing his social media handles. He then talked about clouds, saying, "we'll step through the fog, and we'll creep through the smog, and we'll be able to see a little sun popping out this afternoon."

He then talked about forecasts from "the most accurate meteorologist," saying, "Guess what? He is I and I am him." He concluded by saying, "We're gonna be warm and humid, with highs in the 80s, guess what, it's like that, rat tat tat tat."



 

Who is Adam Krueger?

Now Chief Meteorologist at CW39 Houston, Krueger's Twitter bio says, "Sneaking your suggestions in the weather." According to his LinkedIn profile, he was a Broadcast Meteorologist at Spectrum News. He was also a Broadcast Meteorologist at KABB (Fox) San Antonio and KHAS (NBC) Hastings, NE. He studied Meteorology, Science at Purdue University. He has 144K followers on Instagram

Other musicians he has featured on his broadcasts include George Strait, Eminem, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Beyonce. Movies he has done include Wayne's World, Forest Gump, Dumb and Dumber. He has also dropped names of US presidents in the past in his broadcasts, along with elements from the periodic table.  

The comment section of his Instagram post on the Snoop Dogg show is filled out requests, with one user saying, "Can you do some of The Beastie Boys?" Another wrote, "Smashed it!! How about Schitt's Creek? Iconic quotes from that show!" "Protect this man at all cost. Thank you for giving Spice to the weather segment that was awesome," one user said, while another wrote, "Can you do breaking bad quotes for the next one?!"
