'Sister Wives' star Meri Brown's cheerful 'Vibin & Thrivin' post draws trolls: 'No wonder you’re stuck with Kody'

UTAH, UNITES STATES: 'Sister Wives' star and one of Kody Brown's wives Meri Brown is living her life to the fullest. Meri, 51, uploaded a smiling photo of herself on Instagram, wearing a yellow hoodie. She captioned, "Just over here Vibin' & Thrivin' That is all. #LivingMyWhy #BecauseICan #LoveWhatIDo #LoveWhoIAm." 

Looking at Meri's happy post about her content life, fans wondered how could she be so untroubled with her polyamorous life. Moreover, some of her fans questioned her carefree attitude amid the existential crisis in Kody's life. The Internet slammed Meri for not realizing that Kody is taking away all she has in her life and that he will never really love her.

A fan commented on her Instagram post, "Wake up Meri ! Robyn is taking the money and Land. You will have nothing. She is not your friend! Kody is taking mostly everything. Get a good lawyer!"

Another made her realize the alleged fact that Kody is not in love with her. "The only reason Why he is with you is your Money and you know that," wrote a fan.

Another fan asked Meri, "How can you be with a man who doesn't love you Kody only loves Robin Cody's family are Robin's children, not you no one else please value yourself as a woman become independent find yourself another man and be happy have a little dignity."

Another clapped back at Meri's caption, saying, "Until you leave Kody, you will never be thriving."

Furthermore, fans kept slamming the 'Sister Wives' star for being with a man who is stealing her money and does not love her. "No wonder you’re stuck with Kody, you gave your vegas house money to miss RobThem Brown," claimed a fan.

Another showed concern, "You are so valuable Meri - don’t let Kody steal from you, you’ve earned your money yourself." Another wrote, "Don’t give Robyn and Kody your money."



 

This is not the first time that fans have shown concern toward Meri. TLC's reality star has often been in criticism for opting to stay "spiritually" married to Kody. However, she broke her silence and clapped back at these criticisms in Sunday's episode of 'Sister Wives' Season 17. According to Insider, Meri said, "These people come at me and they're just like, 'why can't you be strong like Christine, why don't you leave Kody?"

She further explained that these constant questions, concerns, or slams "frustrate" her. The reality star said, "It frustrates me because you know what? Christine has her own value regardless of Kody. I have my own value regardless of Kody." She further stated that she is "shocked" by the claims of how "mean people" on the internet keep questioning her choice.



 

Throughout Season 17, we saw Meri explaining her choice of staying in polygamy. The star claimed in one of the episodes, "When I married Kody, it wasn't just because I loved him. I felt like I had a confirmation from God that I was supposed to be married to Kody."

Meri is the first wife of Kody. The couple got married in 1990 and later legally separated for Kody to marry Robyn. However, the couple chose to stay spiritually married. But recently, their relationship has been estranged even after that Meri kept the "door open" for Kody in hope of rekindling romance.  Apart from a "spiritually married" life, Meri is focused on making friends, meeting people, and involving herself in Lizzie's Heritage Inn in Utah.

New episodes of "Sister Wives" Season 17 air Sundays at 10 pm ET on TLC.
