'Sister Wives' star Christine Brown trolled for 'wasting money' as she covers $770K house in Halloween lights
MURRAY, UTAH: 'Sister Wives' star Christine Brown took to Instagram on Tuesday to flaunt her Halloween decoration. The TLC star was showing off her $770K house being covered in blue and red lights. However, people found it hard to find anything good about it.
Christine said in the video, "I love decorating for holidays but I don't really like decorating the outside when outside is cold or anything like that, but I want to be really festive though, right?"
She added, "So, I got these permanent lights up! I've always seen these and always wanted these."
Christine continued, "So, I have lights up all year round. I am so excited. Look at that. It's so cute! For Christmas, all I have to do is reprogram it from my phone."
Christine informed her fans about the lights. These colors, she said, were Halloween preset no 5 and included various settings for the lights.
Behind Christine, her newly bought $770K house was seen lighting up in blue and red lights. The reality star captioned the video by saying, "Easiest decorating with most rewards! Thanks Royal Peak Lighting!! These lights are gorgeous!!"
Seeing the fancy decoration, a user asked, "How much did it cost to do your whole house?" To this, another replied, "I saw an ad for this a while back. I looked up the cost and it was $5k-7k. But, I looked up a different company than the one Christine mentions in the video, so the price might not be the same."
A concerned user wrote, "I hope you don't have neighbours opposite?. These lights can cause disturbance to people. Also, please please please don't have them on fast flashing settings as they can be hideous (and life-,threatening) for those of us with photosensitive epilepsy."
One person slammed Christine's fancy decoration, claiming, "Looks cool. Not realistic ($$$) for most people." A second echoed this thought, writing, "Very nice, but the average person cannot afford these lights."
"I wouldn't waste the money on lights if you knew how much they cost," commented one.
