Shocking video footage shows the final seconds of a Romanian pop singer who was live streaming to his fans and followers when a train rammed into his car. The accident left Tavy Pustiu, 29, dead, and his wife fighting for her life. The footage also shows Tavy smoking a cigarette while blaring loud Romanian 'manele' music in his car, a white Ford Fiesta, just moments before the unfortunate accident took place.

As he enjoys the music, the clip shows him looking deeply into the camera lens for a few seconds. In the video, Tavy's wife is seen driving towards a level crossing in Ploiesti in Prahova County, Romania. The camera briefly turns to his wife for a second who is seen turning left and right at the crossing to look for any incoming trains but unfortunately does not see the speeding train.

The footage shows the horror on the singer's face as the train strikes them. Tavy lets out a scream as the train rushes towards the car but there was no time to do anything. The train hit the side of the car, leading to the airbags deploying and completely crushing the vehicle. Tavy's wife has not been named and is said to be in critical condition at the Prahova County Hospital after the terrible accident. She is currently on life support.

As per a local police spokesman in Prahova, "As a result of a collision between a train and a car on the level crossing a 29-year-old man who was the passenger in the front of the car was declared dead and a 24-year-old woman who was the driver was injured," reports Mirror. "The accident happened because of non-compliance with the rules at the level crossing." The police revealed that the train had been traveling between Maneciu and Ploiesti Sud. They added that the firemen trying to rescue the pair had a difficult time in removing them from the wreckage.

Around a month before the tragic accident, Tavy had taken to his Facebook page to share a message which read, "One day, the wrong train will take you to the right destination." Many social media users took to Facebook to comment on the news of Tavy's death and the fatal accident. One such user shared, "That last FB post was tragically ironic." Another shared, "That just was sad to watch. If she lives she'll forever remember (or see, over and over) her husband yelling at the oncoming train and reaching for her arm in his last moment."

A third added, "If there's one thing I've constantly noticed, it's that the deceased always says or does something or posts something really ironic beforehand. Like the lady who was eaten by an alligator and beforehand posted a photo of an alligator in the clouds."

"Omg what a horrible feeling watching the last few seconds, be careful mores (translated from Portuguese via Facebook)," shared another upset social media user. Others wondered why neither of them saw the train hurling towards their car.
