MIAMI, FLORIDA: When news broke that Shakira and Gerard Pique were no longer together, it sent shockwaves through the entertainment world, becoming one of the most talked-about topics, with fans and media speculating about the reasons behind their separation.

Finally, in a recent interview on Catalan radio station 'Rac1', Pique decided to break his silence and shed light on the situation with his ex-partner.

Gerard Pique breaks silence on controversial split from Shakira

After months of staying quiet, Pique has decided to address the rumors surrounding his split from Shakira. During his conversation with broadcaster Jordi Baste, Pique expressed his frustration with the misinformation circulating about their separation.

He emphasized that people only know a fraction of what actually occurred. He added that much of the information circulating is also inaccurate.

Pique acknowledged that if he had "given importance to everything that was said" about him, he would have found himself consumed by negativity.

He stated, "The only way to get out of all this alive is simply ignore everything." 

In the aftermath of the split, Pique has resolved to keep his personal life private, allowing him to maintain a sense of normalcy amidst the media frenzy.

Pique recognizes that the events following his separation from Shakira were akin to "a circus."

However, he acknowledges that this is part of being a public figure and understands the inherent nature of the show business.

Gerard Pique has had to confront the backlash and hate that often accompany such public separations, but he has developed strategies to cope with the negativity.

Rather than dwelling on the past, Gerard Pique chooses to focus on his current relationship with Clara Chia and his professional endeavors.

Shakira is coping with breakup through music 

Dealing with a high-profile breakup is never easy, especially when the world is watching. Shakira recently shared how songwriting became a therapeutic outlet to navigate her emotions post her split with Pique.

Speaking on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon', she discussed the challenges faced during a tough year and how writing helped her cope.

Despite the difficulties, her latest single, "Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53," a collaboration with Bizarrap, has emerged as an empowering anthem for many women.

Shakira has subsequently released three songs addressing the split, including 'TQG', a collaboration with Karol G in which they sing about observing a former partner move on.

The lyrics allude to her breakup and its aftermath, as well as Gerard Pique's current girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti.

Despite facing personal challenges, Shakira remains resolute in her pursuit of record-breaking success. The lyrics of her latest song echo her newfound empowerment, with Shakira boldly declaring, "I'm too good for you, and that's why you're with someone just like you."
