SASEUNGBONG-DO, SOUTH KOREA: Shin Dong-woo and Shin Seul-ki went to Paradise together in Episode 3 of 'Single's Inferno' Season 2. Seul-ki appeared to be bored with his questioning and his push for her to return his affections based on their conversation. After coming back to Inferno, Choi Jong-woo shoots his shot with his first crush on the beach, Seul-ki. He assumed that would have sealed the deal, but the arrival of a newbie this week derailed his plans.

Season 2 of 'Single's Inferno' witnessed the appearance of a new man, Kim Jin-young, near the conclusion of episode 3. He not only turned all the women's heads on the beach, but also the men's. When he wins a special meal with two ladies of his choice after defeating the men in a body tug of war, he chooses Choi Seo-eun and Seul-ki. The girls observe that this is the first time Seul-ki has found a guy to be 'cool.'

Seul-ki inquires about his personality during their dinner together. He admits to being a little bashful around individuals he doesn't know. Jin-young explains why he chose them without knowing their names by saying that he found Seul-ki "pretty", which he liked. When Seul-ki asks whether he has an ideal type, he responds that his type is someone for whom he gets a spark when he first meets them, which is difficult but necessary for him to realize how it feels. He adds that it's also vital to evaluate if the individual is easy to chat with. Seul-ki then inquired about his look preferences to which he replied that he liked "pretty people". When Jin-young asks what interests Seul-ki she responds that she likes anyone who can easily make her laugh. And someone she aspires to be like. "Somebody you can look up to," Jin-young adds.

Seul-ki admits in a confessional: "I like faces that are kind-looking and, kind of, friendly-looking, but Jin-young is complete opposite of that. So, the tension felt different to me, and I thought it would be nice to get to know him."

Jong-woo whisks Seul-ki away from the gang for a private conversation by the beach. He states he's wanted to talk to her for a long time, but hasn't had the opportunity. He continues, "the other day...talking to you briefly and sharing that you're left-handed and things like that, because we have something in common, I became a bit more curious. About you. And when we talked, you're good at giving compliments that weren't meant to be a compliment. Like you were good at noticing the little details and asking about them. So, you seem to say a lot of things that make people feel good. And I felt I should express how I feel about you a lot more."

He acknowledges that he isn't very adept at gazing at people in the eyes, which Seul-ki doesn't seem to mind. She, on the other hand, ends up complimenting his nose. He responds to the compliment by claiming there's nothing unattractive about her. He inquires about her lively personality, which she confirms. She emphasizes, though, that it reflects on her face if she is physically fatigued. Jong-woo vows to sense her mood by looking at her face. When Seul-ki tells him that the ocean water that sparkles when the light touches it is called 'Yunseul,' Jong-woo takes advantage of the opportunity to nickname it Yun Seul-ki.

When it came to choosing who everyone wanted to accompany to Paradise, Jin-young looked to have a lot of alternatives. He was torn having to choose between Seul-ki, who his instincts really pointed to. To him Seo-eun seemed different than what he had thought. Park Se-jeong felt like he had good chemistry when he had his conversation. But in the end he chooses Seul-ki to go to Paradise with. Jong-woo, on the other hand, had Seul-ki on his mind from the start. He admits in a confessional, "My feelings of wanting to get to know only Seul-ki have gotten so strong. So, I think I'll keep trying until the day we go to Paradise together."
