Sheryl Crow has claimed she saw some "really strange" things while working as a backup vocalist for Michael Jackson.

The 57-year-old country singer said she was left with a lot of questions about the King Of Pop's behavior after performing on his Bad tour in the 1980s, The Sun reported.

This comes after Crow recently told The Telegraph she hadn't watched Leaving Neverland, a controversial documentary which left its millions of viewers shocked after showing the Thriller hitmaker as a serial child molester.

“I haven't seen the documentary and I don't want to see it," she said. “I was around for some things that I thought were really strange and I had a lot of questions about.”

While on tour with Jackson, Crow performed the song I Just Can't Stop Loving You and later appeared in the music video for Dirty Diana.

She revealed earlier this month that despite being "starstruck" by the superstar, she always had suspicions about Jackson's fascination with children.

She also questioned why the parents of James Safechuck let him spend so much time with the legendary singer-songwriter.

"I happened to turn on CNN the morning after the first half [of Leaving Neverland] aired," she told The Guardian in an interview published Saturday. "They showed clips of the young man who was on the Jackson tour with us and it made me… I mean, I still feel really…"

"It’s like a death in the family, you know? It’s sad," she continued. "[James Safechuck] was a great kid and the whole time he was with us – which was the better half of an 18-month tour – I always wondered: ‘What in the world are his parents doing?’, you know?"

In March, Leaving Neverland detailed the disturbing allegations of Safechuck and fellow accuser Wade Robson who claimed to have been sexually abused by Jackson when they were kids.

Crow said she was enraged after learning of the distressing allegations of child rape and manipulation against the Smooth Criminal star.

During the interview, the All I Wanna Do singer attacked the "network" of Jackson's cronies who were she claimed were "complicit" in his alleged behavior.

"I think that there were a lot of exceptions made because of the damage that [Jackson]" she said. "I mean, he didn’t intentionally project it, but it was part of his aura – this almost being untouchable and almost alien-like [figure]."

"And, yeah, I mean, I’m sad, and I’m mad at a lot of people," she added. "I feel like there was just a huge network of people that allowed all that to go on. It’s just tragic."

That said, the tragic King of Pop strongly denied all allegations of sexual abuse made against him.

Jackson died in 2009 after being "accidentally" overdosed by his personal doctor.
