A California bartender reportedly busted a sheriff's deputy trainee who was trying to impress the ladies by showing them graphic photos of the tragic chopper crash that claimed the lives of NBA superstar Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna, and seven others on board.

According to the LA Times, graphic photos of the Calabasas hillside crash featuring the victims' remains were already a hot topic of discussion among first responders in the days after the tragedy.

Speaking to TMZ, sources said at least one Los Angeles County sheriff's deputy was recently passing around the graphic pictures at a bar while flirting with a female patron. However, it is not known who took the photos or how many people the images were shared with.

The TMZ report said at least one LA County Sheriff's official had the photos on his cell phone "in a setting that had nothing to do with the investigation."

According to the source, the conversation between the cop trainee and his female interest was overheard by a bartender, who then filed a complaint with law enforcement online.

“He tried to impress a girl by showing her the photos,” the source told TMZ.

The photos also somehow managed to reach multiple firefighters at the Los Angeles County Fire Department, according to TMZ. And an internal investigation was launched after first responders from the Lost Hills Sheriff's station allegedly shared cellphone photos from the crash site to officers in other substations.

The Los Angeles sheriff's office told the LA Times that the “matter is being looked into.” However, they are yet to offer further details.

On the fateful morning of January 26, a helicopter carrying Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven others to a basketball game crashed into the Calabasas hillside.
