Shay Mitchell gives birth to baby girl, welcomes her first child with boyfriend Matte Babel in adorable post
Congratulations are in order for Shay Mitchell who has just become a mom for the very first time. The 'Pretty Little Liars' star took to the internet and shared the news of the arrival of her baby with fans all over the globe.
The 32-year-old welcomed her new baby with a post of the baby holding her finger with the caption "Never letting go" along with the picture of the little baby girl.
Mitchell and her boyfriend Matte Babel had earlier announced on their Instagram and Youtube channel that they are "expecting".
Mitchell also wrote a small description on the video saying "There is something in the oven and it’s not my pizza!!! WOW… It's kind of surreal processing the fact that another human is growing inside of you."
The couple also had a unique way of letting the world know about the gender of their baby! She documented her gender reveal party by having blue and pink Power Rangers duke it out in the ultimate fight. The pink Power Ranger won, of course.
Shay and Matte were rumored to have been dating since 2017 and the best part about their relationship is the way they met. They met through mutual connections and have been together ever since.
Matte, a Canadian TV star, had gone on to praise the love of his life in an Instagram post after her big reveal, where she was showing off her baby bump.
He wrote, "The strength, vulnerability and grace you’ve had during this pregnancy has left me in awe, you’re going to be an incredible mom. We’re lucky to have you, love you."
Mitchell broke the news just five months after revealing she had suffered a miscarriage at five months in 2018. "We all have to deal with various struggles and challenges in life," she wrote on her social media post.
"The support and affection that so many of you show me lifts me up during even my darkest days, one of which happened last year after I miscarried and lost the child of my hopes and dreams," she added.
