LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In a surprising turn of events, the music industry's beloved couple, Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello, have allegedly called it quits once more, only six weeks after reigniting their romance. The duo, known for their hit song 'Senorita', was last seen getting cozy at a Taylor Swift concert on May 26 but it appears they have already broken up and this time it's final. 

"Shawn and Camila have a lot of history and they tested the waters again after coming back into each other’s lives," a source told The Sun. "But it was just a fling and they’ve put an end to it now. They realized it was probably a mistake to give things another shot. Things ended between them the first time for a reason, after all."

The Canadian singer, 24, and the Havana hitmaker, 25, initially went public with their relationship in the summer of 2019 and after enduring the challenges of Covid-19 lockdowns together, Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello unfortunately called it quits near the end of 2021, concluding their two-year romance. However, rumors started swirling in mid-April suggesting a reconciliation between the couple. Those speculations were confirmed when they were spotted sharing a kiss at Coachella.

In 2021, when they initially ended their union and the pair released a statement to announce their breakup. Yet, just under two weeks ago, everything seemed fine as they attended Taylor Swift's Eras Tour at the expansive MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, with arms wrapped around one another. Since their reunion, they were seen engaging in romantic activities, such as strolling hand in hand in New York City a little over two weeks ago, as well as another walk on May 25 where the pair were donned in all-black sporty attire. 

While the couple had recently rekindled their romance, it seems that their second attempt did not withstand the test of time. Fans who were hopeful for a lasting reunion between the talented singers are now left to ponder the reasons behind this latest breakup. "In reality, both of them know they aren’t right for each other romantically and now they just want to move on," the source concluded.
