Sharon Osbourne slams CNN host Don Lemon for ‘one-sided’ and ‘ignorant' coverage of her exit from CBS
On Monday, September 26, Sharon Osbourne fired back at CNN host Don Lemon calling him ‘ignorant.’ Sharon during her new show ‘Sharon Osbourne: To Hell & Back,' which is streaming on Fox Nation blasted Lemon saying, “He turned against me. He never called for a quote. He never called for his statement, and he turned against me. And I was a big fan of his. He used to do the New Year’s Eve show, and he would get drunk and he’d be in clubs, and I thought he was a hoot.”
“I really did. But, I just thought, ‘How ignorant of you not to ask the other side,’ because that’s your job. That’s what you’re meant to do. So, I thought, ‘I’m not watching you on New Year’s Eve again,’” Sharon added. According to Fox News, Sharon's latest remark comes after, last year on his primetime program, Lemon discussed the event when Osbourne lost her job as co-host of CBS's daytime talk show ‘The Talk’ for defending Piers Morgan amid claims that he was racist on her remarks for Meghan Markle.

Lemon next invited former ESPN host Jemele Hill, who said that ‘Osbourne had a full-on temper tantrum’ while the duo lectured her on race. Talking about losing her job at CBS, Sharon said that she has no regrets about it and is happy to have landed at Fox Nation.

Sharon said of Piers calling out Meghan Markle, “I don’t regret it at all. Piers is not a racist, never has said anything racist, never written anything that you could consider racist. It’s not in him, and I’ve known him for 30 years. I honestly think that CBS, because the world loved the interview, and it was Piers Morgan who said, ‘Hold on here, there are 17 lies that have been told – it’s one-sided. I didn’t agree with everything Piers said, but I still agreed he had the right to say whatever he wanted.”
"That was so disturbing on so many levels," says Jemele Hill, reacting to "The Talk" co-host Sharon Osbourne's remarks about racism and her support for Piers Morgan after his controversial comments about Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex. https://t.co/FcaJxfFfMy pic.twitter.com/WyKBZc42pY

“I know myself that if Jack had taken this project anywhere else, they wouldn’t have taken it because people were very afraid to deal with somebody that’s been canceled. They are very afraid. Everybody walks on eggshells, everybody wants to be politically correct, and they just don’t want to deal with you. I have nothing against anyone except CBS. I wouldn’t trust CBS as far as I could throw them.” During the interview, Sharon also called out Joy Behar. She said, "I met [Joy] once at a social function and she picked up my hand and looked at my wedding ring and said, ‘Oh, my God that’s gaudy.’ I wanted to say, ‘Jealous,’ but I didn’t, I held it back," Osbourne said, dragging out the word jealous for emphasis. "I just think that she’s a bit cray-cray."
