What is His & Her Bar?
If a creamy, delicious, chocolate bar, that also acts as an aphrodisiac, sounds like something that is too good to be true, then you might want to turn your attention to His & Her Bar. This plant-based, gluten-free and non-GMO snack bar boasts of improving your libido with regular consumption. With just seven simple ingredients, this 7 Her Bar is already creating waves among its users.
The company's website described the product as, "His & Her Bar has a creamy consistency with an earthy & nutty flavor from a mixture of almonds, cashews and maca. The chocolate, dates, and vanilla give it the perfect combination of just enough sweetness and you will taste a hint of cayenne at the back end of consuming the bar giving it a little spice."
The company also gives out a disclaimer that it isn't meant for "instant gratification". "This bar was not created to be an Instant Gratification Product. Who are the founders?
Husband and wife duo, Jennifer and Michael Gallagher, are the brains behind the His & Her Bar. Prior to setting up their snack bar company, Jennifer was in the sales and marketing department of a corporate company after graduating from the University of South Carolina in 2009. She resigned from her job and set up a clothing business, that went bust. But she was still determined to be an entrepreneur. In 2019, during a morning run, Jennifer came up with the idea for His & Her Bar.
Since then, she and her husband Michael spent the next couple of months fine-tuning the idea and testing out recipes to come up with the perfect product. "In September of 2019, on a run together the 'aha-moment' idea popped up in Jennifer's mind to create His & Her Bar & she couldn't wait until their cool down walk to explain the vision to Michael!"
"Over the next couple of months, they did a lot of research & recipe testing to find the perfect combination of natural superfood ingredients for the first His & Her Bar," reveals the website. Michael, on the other hand, is a Navy veteran and former firefighter who is extremely passionate about wine. He has his own wine podcast called 'The Mr Wine Guy Podcast', where he interviews winemakers and owners sharing their stories of how they got to where they are today.
What is the cost?
Vegan, gluten-free, non-GMO and made with just seven ingredients, His & Her Bar is sold in a pack of 12 bars. Each pack costs $44.28 and each bar costs $3.69.
