Stormy Daniels's affair with Trump isn't news to Seth Rogen, he says he knew it for years
What is new to us, isn't surprising to Seth Rogen at all. The comedy star and Stormy Daniels go way back, and Rogen says he had the dirt on her alleged affair with Donald Trump more than a decade ago.
"I've known Stormy Daniels a long time and I'll be honest," the actor revealed on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' on Monday that he had known about President Donald Trump’s alleged infidelity with Stormy Daniels years ago.
Adult film star Daniels had appeared in small roles in “The 40-Year-Old Virgin” (2005) and “Knocked Up” (2007), which featured the actor.
She played a stripper and a porn star, respectively in two of his movies.
The comedian confessed further, "She may have mentioned some of this stuff around 10 years ago. At the time when you ask a porn star who they've been sleeping with and the answer was Donald Trump, it was like the least surprising thing that she could've said."
The co-founder of Hilarity for Charity added that as Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign “rolled out, it became clear that no one cared about anything he did. And so it didn’t really occur to me even that it would come out or anyone would care about it. But then when I saw it, I was like, ‘Oh, yeah. Stormy told us all about that!'”
Rogen added that he hadn't seen his former co-star in years, but joked that she's "clearly done well with herself."
Stormy Daniels — whose real name is Stephanie Clifford — has been making headlines since January, when reports emerged that she'd been paid $130,000 in hush money from Trump's lawyer Michael Cohen in 2016 to keep quiet about an alleged affair she had with the soon-to-be President.
Daniels has filed a civil lawsuit looking to null the 2016 agreement because she says Trump never signed it. The porn star recently said on '60 Minutes' that the rendezvous with president happened at his hotel room in Lake Tahoe weeks after wife Melania gave birth to their son Barron.
