American professional boxer Ryan Garcia who puts up a tough front while fighting opponents in the ring reportedly has a soft spot for singer Selena Gomez. When Ryan was asked if he has a celebrity crush he wants to holler at, he surprized everyong by saying: “I’m always going to shout out Selena Gomez.”
A rising star in the world of boxing, the 20-year-old has gained a lot of fans and has over 1.7 million people following him on Instagram. However, he says he always had his eyes on Selena. "I know she's probably not looking for a man right now," he told TMZ, "but I would protect her, you know."
When the reporter told him that Selena is currently single, Ryan decided to publicly ask Selena out. "She's single, so lemme shoot my shot. Lemme take you out!"
The professional boxer in the Super Featherweight division agreed with the reporter when he said the two could be "the best-looking couple in Hollywood." Ryan responded, "That's what I'm saying."
Ryan is probably right about one thing, Selena isn’t looking for a relationship right now. The singer is completely focused on herself these days and has a lot in store for fans in 2019!
Selena is “looking and feeling amazing, she’s doing really well since leaving treatment and she’s really positive about the future,” a source close to her recently told HollywoodLife. “Selena is fully focused on herself right now, she’s all about her wellbeing and fitness, and she’s looking forward to 2019,” the source adds.
Selena has also been spotted several times on a hike and hitting a gym. Most recently, on January 9, she was seen leaving a Pilates class in Los Angeles. The 26-year-old actress/singer went low-key for the outing wearing a black Puma jacket with a hoodie over a white tank top and black leggings. She also sported dark round shades and was seen holding a bottle of water.
Ryan has a promising future in boxing having scored a huge contract with Oscar De La Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions and currently holds a 17-0 record. He's also starring on a new series 'On the Ropes; produced by the Brat digital studio.
