LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Selena Gomez commented on a viral TikTok video, which claimed she was ‘always skinny’ while dating Justin Bieber on Saturday, December 10. The singer who recently debuted her acting career with ‘The Only Murders In The Building’ left a sad emoji in a comment section where the clip had her several snaps looking ‘skinny’ while dating the ‘Love Yourself’ singer. The clip was first uploaded on November 29, last month, and has been watched by 3.7 million viewers, as the 30-year-old singer’s comment has already been liked by 40,000 viewers.
The video was captioned, “The reason why Selena is always skinny when she dates Justin.” In its slideshow-styled clip, a series of photos taken of the ‘Wolves’ singer from previous years were lined up. It included a screenshot of a comment Gomez had allegedly made to a fan, where she wrote, “No love. He's rather a model. I'm just too normal.” She was responding to the fan’s claim that Justin probably ‘messed it up’, but the admirer still supports the former pair ‘Jelena’. The viral TikTok clip maker responded to Gomez's comment with, 'YOU DID NOT' followed by two crying face emojis.

It also garnered a lot of response in the comment section, as fans interpreted their own version of the significance and meaning of Gomez’s reaction. One fan wrote, 'She was always slim, she just gained a bit weight now but she's still beautiful. Y'all are reaching.' A few fans recalled her 2015 Lupus diagnosis, saying it was because of that the Disney star put on weight since she had to take medication and had a kidney transplant in 2017, as per Daily Mail.
Gomez herself called out to all on her weight gain in a TikTok video shared in April, this year, reported Entertainment Tonight, “So I be trying to stay skinny, but I went to Jack in the Box and I got four tacos, three egg rolls, onion rings and a spicy chicken sandwich,” she expressed during the clip. She further said in the clip, “But honestly, I don't care about my weight because people b***h about it anyway. 'You're too small. You're too big. That doesn't fit. Meh meh meh meh.' “B***h, I am perfect the way I am. Moral of the story? Bye.”
