Back on? Sean Penn and Robin Wright spotted together for first time after their divorce 13 years ago
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Hollywood actors Sean Penn and Robin Wright were spotted traveling together after more than a decade over the weekend at Los Angeles International Airport. Both Penn and Wright divorced their respective partners less than a year ago and were spotted making their way through a terminal on the Martin Luther King Jr Day long weekend, on Friday, January 13.
Penn reportedly filed for divorce from ex-wife, Leila George, 30, in October 2021 while Wright reportedly filed for divorce from Clement Giraudet, 38, in July 2022. The 56-year-old 'House of Cards' star sported a black turtleneck and jeans with a low pair of lace-up black leather boots. She also carried an olive green and cream fleece Moncler puffer and wore a pair of glasses and kept her blonde hair back in a low ponytail, as per Hollywood Life.

Penn, on the other hand, wore beige cargo pants and sand colored t-shirt along with a pair of camel hiking boots. He also rocked a black jacket complementing with a black backpack. The two-time Academy Award winner began a romantic relationship with Wright shortly after separating from Madonna, when working together on 1990’s 'State of Grace'. The duo welcomed two children, daughter Dylan Penn, 32, in 1991, and son, Hopper Penn, 29, in 1993.
In 1996, they got legally married and stayed together for 14 years before getting a divorce in 2010. In an interview with The Telegraph in 2014, Wright termed their divorce "devastating." “Divorce in and of itself, and with children, is devastating. Worse than that. One of the reasons why we got back together and broke up so much was trying to keep the family together. If you’ve got kids, it’s a family, and you try again, and you try again. We did that for a long time,” she said according to Hollywood Life.

While Penn's career skyrocketed in the industry over the years which included a lot of controversies, including his infamous interview with narco-terrorist El Chapo, Wright on the other hand, sacrificed her career and spent time at home raising their children. Their marriage was the longest relationship for each of them.
