'SEAL Team' Season 3: Lisa Davis is with the Bravo team leaving fans confused why she isn't in San Diego

The promo of 'SEAL Team' begins with Lisa Davis (Toni Trucks) announcing: "Kosovo's recently become a hotbed of terrorist activity," and the team gets back into combat mode

Before the third season of 'SEAL Team' rolls out, the promo was released and put the spotlight on Master Chief Special Warfare Operator Jason Hayes (David Boreanaz) and his team waddling through some dangerous military operations.

The promo begins with Ensign Lisa Davis (Toni Trucks) announcing: "Kosovo's recently become a hotbed of terrorist activity," and the team gets back into combat mode.

While the teaser promises more action and warfare, several fans are wondering how Lisa Davis ends up with the Bravo team as she was supposed to be heading for a new assignment in San Diego at the end of the second season.

In a Reddit thread, one fan wrote, "I don't understand this. Wasn't Davis supposed to be in San Diego? How is she with the team?"

Another fan commented, "She was heading to a new assignment in San Diego. There's nothing that prevents her next assignment being back with Bravo Team, especially if we assume that there's going to be another time skip in-between seasons — there was a roughly six month time skip between the finale of Season 1 and the premiere of Season 2 (which also corresponded to the time the show was off the air)."

Going by the first looks, Davis will live up to her image of the tough and gritty logistics officer. She is also the unofficial den mother responsible for outfitting the team with the necessary gear and that seems to hold more importance in the new season. There is quite a bit from the character's past that will surface in the new season.

After an intense season two finale, the series will put the spotlight on post-traumatic stress disorders as well as brain injuries that have affected the Bravo Team.

Talking to The Hollywood Reporter, Boreanaz said, "All these characters go through something on the Bravo team and at the end, they come to this realization of what's next for them, and I will say that Jason Hayes has a lot to talk about, but he’s not too good about it, so I think that’s going to be surprising for them."

The military drama follows the professional and personal lives of the most elite unit of Navy SEALs as they train, plan, and execute the most dangerous, high-stakes missions our country can ask of them and is all to premiere on CBS starting from October 2, 2019.
