'Say Yes To The Dress': Alexis looks for a naked wedding dress as she wants to feel fabulous on her big day
Every bride who comes to Kleinfeld brings in a unique request and the store makes sure that their wishes are fulfilled. In the latest episode of the show (July 18), soon-to-be-bride, Alexis Wirth came to the store with a request that was never made. As soon as Alexis entered, she knew exactly what she wanted — a naked dress.
Alexis decided to go straight in and look for the rack that would have the most sensual dresses one could find. Despite it being an out of the ordinary request, the store knew they had to make the wishes of the bride come true and they did not waste a second picking out some of the options for her. Before fixing a couple of dresses for her to wear, Alexis decided to open up about what she had been looking for in a wedding dress. "I want to be naked", she said, while adding that she was looking for a chic dress for which she would have to get a Brazilian wax for, and wanted to have flowers or some design that would help cover her private parts.
Speaking to the camera, Alexis explained that for a long time she had viewed her body in terms of what others would think and how they would see it. However, once she started loving herself for who she was, Alexis knew there was no turning back. She loved showing off her body and that was exactly what she wanted to do on the day of her wedding. Alexis added that she wanted to feel flawless and fabulous on the day of her wedding.
Alexis explained that her fiance had also been supportive of her choices and was fully on board with her idea of wearing a naked dress. Luckily for Alexis, she had three choices in front of her to choose from. The first was a netted dress that would make everyone's heads turn. While she and her family and friends loved the dress, Alexis knew she had to try the other one.
The second dress had Alexis feeling like she was exposed. While she was worried about what the people might think, she decided to still go ahead and show it to her family. Unimpressed with how it looked, Alexis went for the third dress. Se loved how it looked but the top made her wonder if that was what she had been looking for. After trying three dresses, Alexis knew the first was the one for her and she decided to say yes to the dress.
