Sasha Obama's incredible transformation leaves people stunned after Michelle shares family photo on Thanksgiving
We all saw Malia Obama grow up into a beautiful young woman during Barack Obama's presidency, and her younger sister Sasha now seems to be quietly following in her footsteps.
So when former First Lady Michelle Obama posted a rare Thanksgiving picture with her family, people could not help by gawk at 18-year-old Sasha who was all dolled up in a black dress with spaghetti straps and thigh high-slit.
Her makeup accentuated her features and highlighted her transformation from a shy young lady to a confident woman. The rest of her family members were dressed in casual attires and many people were left wondering why Sasha had a cocktail dress on.
As it turned out, the photo in question—clicked against the backdrop of a luscious green garden—was actually taken back in May just before the teen attended her high-school prom, which explained her choice of outfit and smoky eye makeup.
Even celebrities like Demi Lovato could not believe their eyes when they saw Sasha's transformation. "Wow!! Sasha is stunning!!" Demi commented writing, "The girls are so grown and beautiful!!"
It was also incredible to see Sasha, who is currently starting her studies at the University of Michigan, gradually evolve into every bit the fashionista that her mother is.
Just a few years ago, her style mainly consisted of simple knitted jumpers, denim skirts to more boho-chic look. She wore embroidered summer dresses with lace-up sandals, her choice of outfits have undergone a complete makeover.
And of course, who can forget her braces-phase during her adolescence and early teen years.
Malia's sister is already being compared to Michelle due to her largely resembling features. Her elder sister, on the other hand, is believed to have inherited Barack's looks, including his well-defined jawline.
Sasha's style has become increasingly sophisticated as time went by and she is showing no signs of slowing down!
