Todd Palin, Sarah Palin's husband had filed for divorce 3 months ago after the couple had stayed together for 31 years. Since then, however, Sarah hasn't responded to her husband's divorce and it has come to light that she is hoping for a reconcialiation.

According to a report in Radar Online, a source was quoted as saying that the two are still hoping to reconcile and save their marriage. The two are making efforts to repair their relationship. The source said, "They’re still together. Todd’s not moved out, they’re still living under the same roof and together as a family. Sarah’s not someone who gives up on anything without one hell of a fight."

The source further added, "Even though she and Todd have their differences, they do truly love and respect each other as people."

It was Todd who had asked for their marriage to be dissolved on September 6, 2019. In the filing, Todd had cited 'incompatibility of temperament' as the main reason why the two could no longer live together as husband and wife.

The couple are parents to Track, 30, Bristol, 29, Willow, 25, Piper, 18, and Trig, 11. Trig was diagnosed with Down Syndrome. Track was also tossed in jail in 2018 for allegedly hitting his baby's mother. He was eventually released but had to wear a monitoring bracelet.

Bristol divorced her husband in 2018 after two years of staying together. In the filing, Todd had asked for shared custody of their youngest child, Trig.

Sarah had earlier spoken about the divorce proceedings and had also revealed in an interview with James Dobson, the founder of the Family Talk Christian ministry, that she had heard about the divorce from her husband's lawyer. She said, "I thought I got shot." She also added that their marriage was not "over, over" in the same interview.
