Sarah Palin was spotted dining at a New York restaurant, two days after she tested positive for Covid-19. The former vice-presidential candidate was clicked as she ate at Elio's on Manhattan's Upper East Side.

Palin's defamation trial against the New York Times in the Manhattan federal court was delayed on Monday, January 24, after she tested positive. Elio's manager, Luca Guaitolini told Mediaite through a statement, "Tonight Sarah Palin returned to the restaurant to apologize for the fracas around her previous visit. In accordance with the vaccine mandate and to protect our staff, we seated her outdoors. We are a restaurant open to the public, and we treat all civilians the same."

"S**t happens! People come to eat, we are not the border police," an employee of Elio's told the New York Post. But the Internet didn't take it lightly. Multiple people spoke up against this Palin. "How does Sarah Palin keep getting into NYC restaurants with no proof of vaccination? She tested positive for COVID two days ago," asked a user, while another said, "Sarah Palin refused to get vaccinated, came to New York for a defamation lawsuit she filed against NYT, tested positive for Covid & ate at a restaurant where she exposed other diners to the virus who will now have to be tested - which merely underscores why Palin is so despised."

One user tweeted, "Asymptomatic or not per health officer order you MUST isolate with a positive test for at least the first 5 days then other factors determine the remainder. Day 2? Shaking my god damn head at you @SarahPalinUSA They need to throw the book at her," while another said, "@SarahPalinUSA is a perfect example of my tweet to @MeghanMcCain. @POTUS can't fix stupid. We will never recover from Covid when we have Covidiots who selfishly won't participate in basic precautions. Palin should quarantine. @POTUS can't cure idiocy."

One user commented, "Sarah "anti-vaxxer" Palin tests positive for Covid-19. So what does she do? She goes out on the town to spread her Covid with others!" with an 'angry emoji.' Another said, "Why is Sarah Palin out & about dining at a Manhattan, NY restaurant 2 days after testing positive for COVID? So irresponsible".

Palin had proclaimed her anti-vaccine views in December 2021, "It'll be over my dead body that I'll have to get a shot. I will not do that. I won't do it, and they better not touch my kids either."
