Sarah Ferguson wants to be Prince Andrew's ‘shoulder to cry on’ following Epstein scandal as rumors of their reunion fly

The ex-couple had arrived at Malaga Airport earlier this week and were driven to a luxury Sotogrande resort
UPDATED AUG 19, 2019

Prince Andrew and his former wife Sarah Ferguson are keeping a low profile and are at a luxury Sotogrande resort sparking rumors that the pair may reunite.

The ex-couple had arrived at Malaga Airport earlier this week and were driven to the resort in a limousine. The pair have holidayed at the resort since 2009.

It is believed that Ferguson is using the trip as a way to pay her ex-husband back for all his support over the years.

As reported by The Sun, she took Prince Andrew to Spain in order to look after him after he panicked post-Jeffrey Epstein's death.

A senior royal shared that Ferguson won't mind being Prince Andrew's support and "wants to be his shoulder to cry on".

"She wants to be there for him in his hour of need. She feels this is like the old days when they would take on the world together," the source told the Sun.

Ferguson had been due to spend a week at the Queen's Scottish Estate but was seen boarding a private jet in Aberdeen on Tuesday afternoon.

It is reported that Prince Andrew traveled to Sotogrande in order to avoid rumors over Virginia Roberts' comment that she was forced to sleep with him in 2001.

A judge, however, threw out all the allegations against the Duke of York and ordered them to be cut from the record as "immaterial and impertinent".

Prince Andrew has also constantly denied having any sort of sexual contact with Roberts.

The Duke's current getaway with his ex has fuelled rumors that the couple could go public with their reunion soon.

The Sun citing friends of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson had confirmed that the former pair had become "friends with benefits".

It was first reported that the couple could be back together in April when ITV revealed that their romance was back on.

However, many royal sources have mixed feelings as to whether the pair will actually remarry.

Some believe that it is unlikely as Andrew's father Prince Philip refuses to be in the same room as Sarah Ferguson.

Another source added, "He is dead against Sarah and blames her for bringing shame on the royals in the Nineties."
