FOLLY BEACH, SOUTH CAROLINA: The vehicles involved in a crash that killed a bride on her wedding day are parked at the towing company's. Their state evidence of the horrific crash that killed Samantha Miller and injured three others including her husband. According to the police, Jamie Lee Komoroski, the driver accused of felony DUI, hit the LSV while traveling at a speed of 65 mph. Samantha Miller was killed in the crash as she was leaving her own wedding party in the LSV.

Fighting with the loss of their daughter, Samantha Miller's mother, Lisa Miller, remarked that her daughter "never wanted to leave Folly. She said that. She said this is her place." That's why Samantha and Aric Hutchinson decided to get married in Folly. After their wedding, they headed back to their rental on an LSV, but due to the fatal crash they never made it back.

Samantha Miller was still in her wedding dress when she was killed by drunk driver, says sister

The bride and groom rode in the back seat facing the car that hit them. The LSV now has seats detached, and the axle connecting the two back wheels is nearly broken. Pieces of the bride's beautiful gown were stuck in the bumper of the rental car, as per reports.

'They were having so much fun on my (LSV)'

Mandi Jenkins, Sam's sister, said, "A quick journey from the venue to their Airbnb for their wedding night. What's gonna go wrong?"

The groom and his brother-in-law remain in the hospital after suffering severe injuries. Jenkins said, "He's laid up with gravel stuck in his head, stuck in his legs, stuck on his arms, He's going to be recovering too. And he said to me today, they were having so much fun on my (LSV)," as reported by ABC News4.

'There's not a lot of safety feature'

Chief Andrew Gilreath of the Folly Beach Public Safety Department confirmed that the happy couple left on an LSV, not a golf cart. The distinction is significant since LSVs can be driven at night. Will Harton, CEO of Etto Leisure Cars, claims that LSVs have more comprehensive safety features than golf carts, such as seat belts, reflectors, brake lights, turn signals, and headlights. Harton said, "If somebody hits you speeding, driving drunk, or recklessly there's not a lot of safety features that can protect you from that," as per reports.

According to Harton, LSVs can be driven on any non-number road under 35 mph, but golf carts are preferable for the golf course or going to your neighbor's house. In his words, "Golf carts can be operated within four miles of your home during daylight hours, not on main surface streets, more neighborhood riding," as reported by ABC News4.
