Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher never share their children's pictures on social media, here's why
Australian actor Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen are parents, but the couple has always shied away from posting their kids' pictures on social media.
The 'Godmothered' beauty, 45, explained in an interview why she and Cohen, 49, agree to keep their children out of the public eye. "Motherhood is actually my favorite topic but I keep it private," Fisher told Marie Claire Australia as she explained how social media has made parenting harder. "I think all parents are trying to protect their kids, especially in the social media age," she said. "I want our children to have a normal childhood — being able to play outside without pressure or scrutiny." Fisher continued, "All kids have the right to just be kids and I would never sell a film or magazine by speaking about [mine]."

Her in-depth interview was accompanied by a stunning photoshoot in which she donned a variety of designer outfits. Inside, she also revealed the 'secret' to her long-lasting relationship with the British comedian as they approach 20 years together, and she said that 'humor helps'. "I wish I had an answer. I'm very lucky to have met him," she added.
Fisher, who was born in Oman and grew up in Perth, also opened up about moving back to Australia with her family after years spent living in Los Angeles. While reports suggested she and Cohen had wanted to escape 'Trump's America', Fisher said relocating to Sydney was a personal rather than a political decision. Fisher said it "feels very magical" to be back home after spending so long in the US and that she can 'be herself' in Australia.
It was announced earlier this week that Cohen will be receiving the Comedic Genius Award at the 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards, which is taking place on May 16, 2021 and May 17, 2021. Cohen is also nominated for three other categories, including Best Performance in a Movie (for his turn as Abbie Hoffman in 'The Trial of the Chicago 7'), Best Movie (for 'Borat Subsequent Moviefilm') and Best Duo. In the last category, he is nominated alongside his 'Borat Subsequent Moviefilm' co-star, Maria Bakalova.
