'Makes me SICK': Mandy Moore's ex Ryan Adams trolled for backing Johnny Depp

Johnny Depp fans reminded Ryan Adams of the allegations that came from his ex-wife Mandy Moore and ex-girlfriend Phoebe Bridgers

Johnny Depp overcame all the odds and won the infamous defamation trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard with a settlement of $15 million. The trial was streamed live and went on for several weeks, leaving both the parties extremely vulnerable. However, Depp won and his supporters rushed out of their cocoons to congratulate him. One such guy was none other than musician Ryan Adams who got slammed by some really furious people.

Ryan Adams, who only wanted to congratulate the 58-year-old actor, received the short end of the stick when people made him a target. In an instant, people reminded him of his sexual misconduct in the past and how he has been accused by several women. His comment, rather simple, only contained heart emojis, praising hands, and a fire emoji, but that was enough to trigger the people. You'd think the audience has forgotten about it, but no. Depp fans reminded him of the allegations that came from his ex-wife Mandy Moore and ex-girlfriend Phoebe Bridgers. 

The 47-year-old singer was dropped by his label once The New York Times brought forth the allegations. What made matters worse was when it was revealed that he was even engaging in sexually explicit communications with underage fans. The FBI too got involved in it. Hence, when people saw him celebrating Depp's victory, a guy who was actually mentally harassed and defamed, fans couldn't take it and put Adams in his place.

Ryan Adams is a long way from home and it will take time, and maybe even confessions, to make things better. but till then, people will keep reminding him of his heinous acts. Johnny Depp's post was all about his six-year-old struggle and how he overcame all this. He explained how the false allegations resulted in a lot of collateral damage. It was because of these allegations that he was dropped from the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' and 'Fantastic Beasts' franchises.

While fans wished him well and told him to look further for better things, Ryan Adams joined the party as well. However, he wasn't invited. One VERY angry user replied to his comment, "Oh get out of here. You had be no goddamn right to be here. You DID abused your poor exes. You were awful." Another person commented, "Not surprised you crawled out from under a rock to like this. I lived in the Triangle in the 90s and heard all the stories about from people who knew, not just secondhand."

Twitter erupted after seeing Ryan Adams's comment and started digging up his old sins. One user wrote, "seeing Ryan Adams comment with emojis that spell out congrats under Johnny's post makes me sick especially knowing what he did to Phoebe and other women in the industry." Another user pointed out that Adams' comment was the top comment and described how she felt, "Ryan Adams being one of the top comments on the johnny Depp Instagram post makes me feel sick SICK"

An Instagram user who compared Adams' situation with that of Depp and Heard said, "Phoebe should be taking notes on the outcome of these lies. Don’t mess with innocent people…this is coming from a domestic abuse survivor. I can spot a liar when I see one." One Twitter user said, "I spent too many years of my life thinking Ryan Adams was a troubled genius but it turned out he was a big child with an enormous ego and sense of entitlement. Would not be remotely shocked if he tries this himself and fails miserably." Another user wrote, "I have never been an Amber Heard fan but I don't love seeing a comment from Ryan Adams underneath Johnny Depp's post about the trial. Ryan Adams, was accused of abuse from multiple partners. And videos mocking this trial from Chris D'elia also accused of predatory behavior."
