'Run' Episode 4 Promo: As Fiona’s stalking continues, Billy confesses to Ruby about not being totally honest
There is more to Billy's (Domhnall Gleeson) story than what he confessed to Ruby (Merritt Wever) in 'Run' Episode 3 and the truth will come out in the upcoming episode. The promo of HBO show's episode 4 was released and it reveals Billy finally learning that Fiona (Archie Panjabi) has made Ruby's acquaintance. Ruby meets Fiona on the train that she and Billy have taken and Ruby is excited that her "friend" is also on the train.
Somehow, Billy realizes that there is something wrong with this scenario and he even asks Ruby how her friend looks. Just when he realizes that the friend that Ruby is speaking of is the same person as Fiona, he also gets a message from Fiona which says, "I know you are not alone." What is worse is that Ruby has also revealed to Fiona about the fact that Billy is traveling around with a bag full of money. So now, Billy also has to be careful about his money as well. So the bag that he had kept in the overhead compartment is something that Billy carefully keeps with himself.
Then, the promo also reveals Billy tell Ruby that he did not tell her the complete truth about his situation. Billy had advised a man dependent on meds to give it up, which resulted in the man taking his own life. His wife attends one of Billy's shows and ends up calling him out for being the reason her husband killed himself. Billy tells Ruby that he then remembers how a voice that he was disconnected to, told the women that she was right. That he was indeed a fake life guru who is a man in his thirties with no family, girlfriend, or a home. He also says that he might very well be the reason why her husband died as well.
So what part of this incident has Billy kept hidden so far? Does this have something to do about the apology that he was supposed to give, but ran away from? If Ruby were to learn that Alice was really Fiona, how would be she respond to Billy's situation? It also seems that Ruby's apology is not something that her husband Lawrence seems ready to accept. So this is definitely going to influence what she thinks of Billy and his situation as well.
New episodes of 'Run' will air on Sundays on HBO.
