'I'm so lucky to have you': Rumer Willis pens emotional note as she spends precious moments with dad Bruce and daughter Louetta on Father's Day
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Demi Moore and Bruce Willis' daughter Rumer Willis spent some precious moments with her dad on Father's Day which was celebrated on Sunday, June 18, 2023. The 34-year-old actress posted some adorable images on Instagram of her 68-year-old father cuddling her eight-week-old daughter Louetta. These images appear to be the first ones of the two that had been released to the public.
When Willis' family gathered to congratulate him on a special day, the action star, who has been suffering from frontotemporal dementia after quitting acting in early 2022, tenderly embraced his young granddaughter in his arms. After Bruce's daughter Tallulah Willis stated that her father had displayed indications of mental impairment years earlier, the father's affectionate outburst was a welcome sight.
In the images Rumer posted, the 'Armageddon' star was wearing a casual black, white, and gray checkered button-up shirt along with a black baseball cap and dark jeans. He looked out at the swimming pool and the surroundings while holding Louetta, who was dressed in a sweet blue and orange flowery onesie.
Another picture showed Rumer holding Louetta as her father laid his chin on her head lovingly. All three seemed to be gazing in various places, with Rumer flashing a lovely grin into the camera. In contrast, her father seemed to be staring at another camera, and the infant gently glanced at her grandfather. Rumer flaunted her postpartum figure in a stunning powder blue polka-dot skirt, a white blouse, and a sophisticated light yellow cardigan.

She captioned, "Fathers to the old and new, Seeing my father hold my daughter today was something I will treasure for the rest of my life. His sweetness and love for her was so pure and beautiful, Papa I'm so lucky to have you and so is Lou. Thank you for being the silliest, most loving, coolest Daddio a girl could ask for. Rumer also praised Derek Thomas, the father of her child in another post. One image showed him lying on a bed with Louetta and an open book, shirtless and with long hair. In another image, his face was painted absurdly white with some type of cream while his hair was pulled back in a sloppy bun, as reported by DailyMail.
'Thank you for filling the house with music for her to hear'
She wrote, 'Happy 1st Father's Day,Thank you for building a beautiful garden for Lou to play in and eat from. Thank you for filling the house with music for her to hear. Thank you for all the late night diaper changes and silly faces."
She added, "I'm so grateful our girl has a papa that loves her so much and someone so goofy and weird so she knows that's ok for her to be too. Thank you for the greatest girl I could imagine in my wildest dreams."
