Rumer Willis hated mom Demi Moore's wish to have babies with Ashton Kutcher, says it felt like 'we were not enough'
Rumer Willis, 31, could not stand her mother Demi Moore's desire to have a baby with her former husband Ashton Kutcher.
While on the latest episode of Facebook Watch's 'Red Table Talk', 56-year-old Demi Moore was seen with two of her three daughters -- Rumer, 31, and Tallulah, 25 -- whom she shares with Bruce Willis. The family opened up and spoke about Moore's past including her marriage to Ashton Kutcher.
As reported by People, during the episode Rumer shared, "So much of that time, especially with Ashton, I was so angry because I felt like something that was mine had been taken away. I think also, when she wanted to have another baby and then it wasn’t happening, and there was so much focus on that, it was like ‘Oh, well we’re not enough'."
The two sisters got candid on what they had gone through with Moore which included the duration of time that the two did not talk to her. Rumer added, "Part of the reason I moved out of the house was, I think after you had a miscarriage, I literally was just like, ‘Why are you so desperate to have another kid?’ I couldn’t stand the idea."
"But then I found these pictures, and I was like, ‘Oh my god'," she continued. Rumer went on to share that she was a bit insensitive and never asked Moore if she was doing OK. Moore recently got candid in her memoir 'Inside Out' where she detailed the experience of having a miscarriage at the age of 42, six months into her pregnancy.
Moore shared, "I can’t even really bring fully to words how lost, empty, desperate, confused … I really lost sight of everything that was right in front of me, which was the family that I had". During the interview, Moore also spoke about how her "addiction" to Kutcher had taken her away from her daughters, emotionally. Moore and Kutcher split in 2011 and finalized their divorce in 2013.
