Meghan and Harry and Kate and William reveal their strikingly different Christmas card photos
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have released their festive greeting card which features them with their arms closely wrapped around each other's waists on their wedding night from May.
Meghan and Harry's Christmas card photo showed them hand-in-hand as fireworks burst in the background on the grounds of the Frogmore Cottage, where the couple will live from early next year. On the other hand, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Prince William and Kate Middleton chose an autumn photo which showed them with their three children — Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis on a tree trunk.
Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their three children were all smiles as they posed together for the lovely photograph. Kate was seen cradling little Prince Louis who stole everyone's hearts with his adorable smile in the picture. Kate stood against a tree trunk in woodland in their Anmer Hall home in Norfolk for the photo. Princess Charlotte also stood on the trunk with her arms around her mother's and father's shoulders while Prince George playfully held onto William as he stood on the trunk.
Both Christmas cards of Meghan and Harry and William and Kate were released at the same time, along with a card from the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall where the couple is seated on a bench and gazing at each other. In Prince Charles' and Camilla's card, the Duchess is seen sporting a cream and crepe dress which has been designed by Fiona Clare.
Prince Charles can be seen sporting an Anderson and Sheppard suit along with a pair of shoes by Crockett and Jones as well as a Turnbull and Asser shirt.
The message in the card read, "Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and New Year." The picture was clicked by Hugo Burnand who also took photographs of Prince Charles' and Camilla's wedding day in 2005.
Burnand is no stranger to working with the Royal Family and had also taken pictures of Prince William and Kate Middleton during their wedding which took place in 2011. The photograph of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle was clicked by Chris Allerton on May 19 when the couple got married. The photograph of Prince William and Kate Middleton for the card was clicked by Matt Porteous.
