Rosie O'Donnell cozies up with girlfriend Aimee Hauer while making red carpet debut
On July 16, Saturday, Rosie O'Donnell and Aimee Hauer made their red carpet debut attending the Stand Up for Friendly House comedy benefit at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles. The former 'The View' co-host and Hauer posed for pictures while hugging and smiling widely.
O'Donnell laid her head on Hauer's shoulder as they embraced each other at the fundraiser for Friendly House's services for women struggling with addiction. O'Donnell, 60-year-old Emmy Award winner, who hosted the sold-out event, had a big night. O'Donnell's close friend Kathy Griffin was also present and made her appearance on stage following her lung cancer struggle.

On June 1, which was also the start of Pride Month, the "Now and Then" singer and Hauer made their relationship official on their Instagram accounts. Before Saturday's event, the couple spent last week hanging out with Rosanna Arquette and Kathy Griffin. O'Donnell posted a picture of the group at her Malibu house with the caption, "Oh yes."
On the "Lesbian Speaking" podcast in 2021, Hauer disclosed that she was brought up in Boise, Idaho, as a devout Mormon. When she was only 21, she married "out of duty" and gave birth to a daughter named Izzie. She was divorced five years later and fought for full custody of her daughter in court for eight years before she was successful. Hauer has a son as well.
