Where is Roseanne Barr? Comedian, 70, lives a quiet life on Hawaii farm with partner of 20 years
HONOKAA, HAWAII: November 3 is officially Roseanne Barr day as the actress has turned 70 today. Known for her no-filter and controversial remarks, the comedian has reportedly enjoyed a long career on television. She is also the recipient of an Emmy and a Golden Globe Award but her reputation began to fall down after she apparently made inappropriate remarks about former president Barack Obama and his ex-advisor Valerie Jarrett.
Barr’s racist words cost her show, ‘Roseanne Revival', also. But she did not stop and in an interview said as reported by PEOPLE: “It was the end of the world and my life’s work. But I lived through it and God has shown me great love and so have people and that’s very healing.” She also added: “All my friends said ‘Your mistake was to apologize to the left,’ because when they see blood in the water they’re going to come until you’re dead. And I think that’s kind of true.”

What is Roseanne Barr doing now?
As per reports, after being boycotted from the entertainment world and facing three failed marriages, Barr is now said to be living the best of her life with her two-decade-old partner, Johnny Argent. Argent, who is a writer and producer, and the former presidential candidate reportedly first connected through phone calls before eventually meeting after a year.
She had once said as reported by The Guardian, “We talked for a year on the phone. I fell in love with his voice. I told him, 'I don't care if you're an amputee, I just care if you have teeth' - teeth are pretty important. I don't mind the no limbs and stuff. He kept saying, 'You won't like how I look, you'll be very disappointed.' He would never send a picture so I thought, 'He's Quasimodo, but I don't care.'
“Then we made an arrangement to meet. He flew in and I was waiting at the airport in a car with a driver. He's crazy like me, he doesn't go outside very much. I was thinking, 'Why have I done this?' and he opened the door and I almost lost my mind. He was the most handsome man I've ever seen.”
Though the pair have not married each other yet, they reportedly enjoy every bit spent with each other. As per a Closer Weekly report, the duo is the owner of a beautiful house on a 46-acre plot since March 2007 in the town of Honokaa in Hawaii. The report also stated that the residence comes with three bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms along with a beautiful garden. In 2018, Barr said about her home on her YouTube video, “I think it’s time for me to start telling the story of this museum. I bought and refurbished [it], and I think I’m going to be taking pictures of it so people can see it.”
A report said that the couple’s “kitchen is equipped with wooden cabinets and stainless steel appliances.” The same report also added that their living room has a bohemian vibe and the place has “a green accent wall with wooden furniture and a neural floral carpet that ties in with the rest of the house.”
However, not just the house, Barr has also reportedly transformed her body too. She has lost a lot of weight by eating healthy and doing exercise. It has been said that she loves being a grandmother to six children. In 2018, the ‘She-Devil’ star reportedly said, “I have six grandkids. That's what changed the most in my life. You've got to be pushier to your kids and make sure they do right by their kids, so it kind of gives you an excuse to be a big b**ch that you've always wanted to be.”
