Rose McGowan shamed for mocking Alyssa Milano's activism against Texas abortion law
Just days after Rose McGowan criticised Oprah Winfrey, she took to social media to slam celebrities who spoke out in solidarity against the strict Texas abortion law. This includes a strong jab at her former 'Charmed' co-star Alyssa Milano who supports the pro-choice movement through online activism.
The #MeToo activist took to her social media account to throw shade at Milano, Reese Witherspoon, and Kerry Washington among other celebrities, for sharing posts in support of women’s reproductive rights following the Texas abortion law that went into effect on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. The 47-year old actress tweeted a screenshot of Milano's latest Instagram post, which spoke about her and more than other 100 stars who have expressed outrage over the country’s most restrictive abortion legislation. "This is really going to help for sure absolutely moron achievement unlocked," McGowan tweeted on Thursday, September 2, 2021.

No sooner than she tweeted this, many people called her out. "And how are you helping? I bet you cracked open a cold one with your new best friend Tucker Carlson, who I am sure absolutely supports this new law. So really, how did YOU make a difference, Rose?" one user took a jab at McGowan. Along similar lines, another said, "So they should do nothing about this? You need to redirect your anger."

Some users took a personal jab at her. "You seem to be directing your energy and anger to the wrong “villain”. How is what you’re doing “going to help” either?" One user took to pass a remark on McGowan and Milano's relationship. "~~ No, sweetie, @Alyssa_Milano
is not! I know something bad happened to you, but to keep lashing out, makes me realize, you're jealous of her success after Charmed. I wish you could find peace, not sure you want it. blessed be ~~" they wrote.

Hillary Clinton diss
Milano was not the only target of McGowan. The activist also turned her attention toward Hillary Clinton, who she derided with harsh words after the former presidential candidate expressed outrage over the abortion ban in Texas.
"@HillaryClinton You are a shadow leader in service of evil. You are the enemy of what is good, right and moral. You represent no flag, no country, no soul. You eat hope, you twist minds. I’ve been in a hotel room with your husband and here comes the bomb," she had written.

Oprah diss
It’s been a busy week for McGowan. On Sunday, August 29, 2021, Rose tweeted her disapproval of Oprah Winfrey as she shared a seven-year-old photo of the media mogul kissing the now-convicted sex offender Harvey Weinstein on his cheek at the 2014 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards. "I am glad more are seeing the ugly truth of @Oprah. I wish she were real, but she isn’t. From being pals with Weinstein to abandoning & destroying Russell Simmon’s victims, she is about supporting a sick power structure for personal gain, she is as fake as they come. #lizard,” she wrote.
