'Not sad vacay is over': Robin Roberts opens up about ‘much-appreciated break’ as she returns to 'GMA'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: if there’s one person who knows how to take a well-deserved break from work and party it up, it has to be Robin Roberts. Everyone has been missing Roberts from the ‘GMA’ desk since before Memorial Day weekend began, and she is finally getting back to work. Everyone deserves a little break from time to time, even news anchors who are often expected to show up for work every single day. Roberts has broken that pattern and taken a break, but she’s going to be back at the desk at ‘GMA’ and better than ever.
While all hosts and anchors at ‘GMA’ are brilliant with a huge fan following, Roberts certainly is one of the more popular ones. In fact, even when she’s in the city of love, Paris, you will find her working for ‘GMA’ instead of actually taking in the view. Nevertheless, between Memorial Day weekend, Taylor Swift’s concerts, and much more, Roberts has finally let her fans know why she wasn’t at the desk on ‘GMA.’
Where was Robin Roberts all these days?
Roberts helped fans fill in a few blanks over the last week, but there were still a few missing pieces to the puzzle. Fans were aware of Roberts living it up at Taylor Swift’s concert, but after that, she was missing from the desk at ‘GMA’ once again. Normally, Roberts is one of the anchors who is quick to update her socials and let her fans know what she’s been up to, but there was some radio silence on her end, which left the fans guessing.

Roberts finally took to Instagram to explain her entire break and absence from ‘GMA’ in a post where she wrote, “Much appreciated break started with fabu time at @taylorswift concert….then our happy place, Key West…followed by trip with #travelsquad to #turksandcaicos. Thank you @tommydidario for arranging as our hosts @theshoreclubtc. Spectacular in every way imaginable! Back to reality as I have to leave everyone day early for work assignment on the west coast. Not sad vacay is over, glad and blessed it happened!#saturdayvibes 😘” Well, we don’t know about you, but this break sounds magical and much needed for Roberts!

Roberts is back at work!
As mentioned on her Instagram, Roberts is traveling to the west coast a day before the rest of her gang because it’s time to get back to reality, aka ‘GMA'.
For those of you who didn’t notice, her co-anchors from ‘GMA’ Sam Champion and Gio Benitez were also present on this holiday, so looks like everyone has to get back to work, along with Roberts.

As much as fans have enjoyed watching Roberts have fun on her mini-vacation, it’s time they want her back on the desk. Previously, when Roberts was missing from the ‘GMA’ desk, it was usually because she was either walking for a cause or working in different cities. It will certainly be good to have Roberts back at ‘GMA.’
