Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart have allegedly split, here's their savage response to previous break-up rumors
Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart have been working together on The CW's show 'Riverdale' and are also a couple. However, the two did not share when they began dating or what really sparked interest on both sides. All that the couple that has been dating since 2017 has sparked, is rumors of a breakup. From the time that the two of them walked the Met Gala 2018 red carpet together, until today, rumors of Reinhart and Sprouse splitting have grabbed headlines often.
In fact, even recently, there were cheating rumors that detailed Sprouse having had an affair with Kaia Gerber which resulted in both Sprouse and Reinhart slamming back hard on the speculations. Both the stars have kept their private lives private and had explained how keeping details about their relationship, including how they met, how they fell in love, or how long the two have actually been together, have made it more special. The interview that the couple revealed this had, in fact, come on the heels of a breakup rumor too.
This was in June 2019 and as an answer to many questions regarding their relationship, the couple shared the cover picture that they shot for the magazine interview together and Sprouse had even captioned the picture, "Don't believe everything you read on the internet, kids."
Similarly, this year in April, when cheating rumors had surfaced, Sprouse had released a statement on Instagram and wrote, "I tolerate a lot of rumors and slander from people online claiming to be my fans. Fans who feel entitled to my privacy precisely because I never indulged them. But attacking my friends, baseless accusations, leaking my address, and sending death threats are all qualities of insanity and fanaticism. Choose humanity stop being [a clown]."
His statement was indeed savage as he ended the long note by saying, "So in conclusion - please eat my delectable plump a**. Making me post a damn white font Insta story like in twice-divorced mother of three." The shade that Sprouse threw at rumormongers had left fans shipping the couple in tears of laughter. Reinhart also responded and said, "Twitter is actually the most toxic form of social media. People are a**holes for the sake of being a**holes. Do you not understand karma? It’s fine if you don’t, you’ll understand when it bites your miserable a**."
The rumors surfaced partly because Reinhart had deleted the pictures that she had posted of herself with Sprouse and in response to the resulting speculations, she had shared on Instagram, "Dear everyone on social media, Don't put down people for the sake of putting them down. Don't be a f**king a**hole.... The world doesn't need any more of that s**t."
