'RIP Martha': Nicki Minaj's post causes Martha Stewart panic and confusion, Internet relieved to learn chef is alive
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Nicki Minaj recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce that her much-loved alter-ego Martha Zolanski died of old age.
While fans were quick to trend 'RIP Martha' to pay tribute to Zolanski, the phrase prompted several people to panic about beloved 82-year-old chef and entrepreneur Martha Stewart.
However, as 'the Barbz' (or Barbies, Minaj's fanbase), clarified that the trend was about the death of the 'Anaconda' hitmaker's alter-ego, fans of Stewart breathed a sigh of life knowing the chef is very much alive.

Who is Martha Zolanski?
Zolanski is one of Minaj's alter-egos and the mother of Roman Zolanski, another of her alter ego. She was first introduced early in the video productions of 'Pink Friday'.
She gained popularity for taking part in 'Roman's Revenge' for yelling at Roman and Slim Shady, Eminem's alter-ago, at the end of the song, demanding they both go to bed and "wash their mouths with soap" because of their aggressive words and statements.
Zolanski's visual introduction came in the 'Moment 4 Life' music video, where she was shown as a fairy godmother who visits Minaj, known as 'King Nicki' in the video, on the day of her marriage with Drake.
The alter-ego is also featured in the chorus of the song, 'Roman Holiday' from Minaj's sophomore album, 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded'.
Zolanski also shared a verse on Sean Kingston's song, 'Born to Be Wild', with Minaj and her son Roman.
