Pregnancy rumors spread like wildfire after singer and fashion icon Rihanna showed up at the red carpet of British Fashion Awards wearing a dazzling mint-green mini dress on Monday, December 2, at Royal Albert Hall in London.

The 31-year-old paired the stylish number with a sheer shirt and gloves of the same color as her dress—the color has been used for a number of designs in her own clothing line Fenty.

She completed the look with a diamond-encrusted choker-like necklace and a small clutch purse. Her hair was braided in cornrows, which gave her outfit an edge, making it stand out.

Jahleel Weaver, Rihanna’s stylist and collaborator, told British Vogue 2019 that her dress was a “look that is undeniably Fenty and reflects where Rihanna is currently in terms of her personal style.”

She patiently posed for the shutterbugs on the red carpet often times with other celebrities like A$AP Rocky.

While her dress did manage to grab eyeballs, so did the tiny bulge near her stomach, which strangely resembled a baby bump.

While it may have been the cut of the figure-hugging number that gave the impression of a baby bump, the 'Love The Way You Lie' singer's belly appeared to be larger than it normally appears in pictures. This led people to speculate whether she was hiding some good news!

The fact that Rihanna appeared to partially cover her stomach up by strategically placing her hands in front of her in a coy manner in most of her pictures on the red carpet simply provided fodder to the gossipmongers.

In an interview for Vogue in November, Rihanna confirmed that she was indeed dating a wealthy Saudi businessman Hassan Jameel for over two years and that “it’s going really well.”

During a July cover for Interview magazine, Rihanna was asked if she wants to be a mother in the future. She simply responded with "more than anything in life."
