Ricky Martin, who via his rep earlier denied domestic violence allegations, could now face up to 50 years of prison after his brother Eric Martin identified the victim. According to the Spanish publication Marca, Martin’s nephew Dennis Yadiel Sanchez was the one who had earlier got a temporary restraining order against the legendary singer.
 
The singer, according to the publication, allegedly dated his 21-year-old nephew for seven months. The singer apparently did not take it well after the relationship ended two months ago as his nephew claims he used to show up at home even after their alleged break up. For the unversed, the 50-year-old Spanish crooner is married to Syrian-Swedish painter Jwan Yosef since 2017. Social media users who earlier mocked the news of the allegations rushed to Twitter while also dragging his iconic song ‘Livin' la Vida Loca", which translates to "Livin' the Crazy Life" in English.

Who is Ricky Martin's husband?

Jwan Yosef who is a renowned painter and artist. He was born in Syria but was raised in Sweden after his parents immigrated when he was just six years old. As a painter, Yosef specializes in plastic arts and is based in London, England. Jwan Yosef studied painting at the Pernby School of Painting in Stockholm between 2004 and 2006. And, in 2011, he completed his MA in Fine Arts at Central Saint Martins.
 
Yosef has often cited Neo Rauch, Gerhard Richter, and Jaan Toomik as some of the major influences on his art. Yosef and Ricky Martin went public with their relationship in the year 2016 and the two secretly walked down the aisle in 2017. They share two kids together i.e. daughter, Lucia Martin-Yosef, and a son, Renn Martin-Yosef.  Speaking of Martin’s latest controversy, Yosef has not yet commented on the situation. Ricky Martin's song ‘Livin La Vida Loca’ dragged

Social media users brutally dragged Martin over his incest controversy. Many on the Internet recalled the singer’s iconic song ‘Livin' la Vida Loca’ as it talks about an irresistible, particularly sinister wild woman living on the edge, seducing others into her crazy world, with lyrics including, "Upside, inside out / She's livin' la vida loca / She'll push and pull you down / Livin' la vida loca.” The song is considered as one of the biggest hits of the Spanish crooner.
 
Reacting to Martin’s controversy, one of the users stated, “Ricky Martin was f**king his 21-year-old nephew and Elon Musk’s father is having a baby with his stepdaughter. Girl what is going awwn.” Another mentioned, “Republicans are gonna have a field day slamming on gays and latinos because of this Ricky Martin scandal.”  One user tweeted, “After finding out why Ricky Martin's trending I just wanna say that the song Livin La Vida Loca doesn't belong to him anymore, from now on the real singers behind that song are Donkey and Puss in Boots.”
