'RHOSLC' Season 3: Annoyed fans call out Lisa Barlow's 'phony' apology to Seth Marks

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH: While Lisa Barlow is ready to move on from her infamous 'hot-mic' rant against best friend Meredith Marks and the entire Marks family, it looks like the latter isn't ready for it just yet. Season 3 of 'Real Housewives of Salt Lake City' kicked off with Lisa turning to Heather Gay for advice on how to resolve her conflict with Meredith. Heather advised Lisa to apologize to Meredith and her family, while taking a huge chunk of responsibility for how things went down between them.

Though Lisa tried her best to practice Heather's advice, it looks like neither Meredith nor fans are ready to buy it. The premiere episode featured Lisa pulling Meredith aside at Jen Shah's husband's birthday party and telling her that she would like to sit down and talk to her. Though Meredith said yes to Lisa's offer, in her confessional the jeweler called out her former best friend for her radio silence during the past two months and suddenly tried to reconcile when cameras are around. Lisa spotted Meredith's husband Seth Marks in a corner and immediately went up to him and tried buttering him up by apologizing to him.

The housewife started off by explaining how she never meant any of the harsh words she spoke about them and claimed that she didn't even remember saying half the things she said about the Marks family. When Seth tried explaining how Lisa's words left Meredith and him feeling very hurt, the housewife apologized but immediately tried deflecting by pointing out how hearing everybody say Meredith wasn't a good friend to her triggered her actions. Lisa also began ranting about how nobody checks on her or tried to get to know what's happening with her while beginning to cry. Though Seth patiently listened to everything that Lisa had to say, he didn't seem to buy anything she was saying.

He later told Meredith that he found it hard to accept her apology as she wasn't willing to take any accountability and kept making excuses for her behavior. F'RHOSLC' fans too sided with him and called out Lisa for her 'phony' apology. A fan tweeted, "Lisa was telling the biggest lie in the world to Seth. She knew exactly what she was saying. She had months to apologize & waited till cameras went up to make an attempt. Lisa Barlow is fake but that's nothing new. #RHOSLC." "Not her waiting TWO MONTHS to reach out, I would have shut that down too! Lisa you trying TOO HARD! Let her know Seth, cause she thought he was gonna entertain that phony lil’ hug #RHOSLC," wrote a fan. Another fan shared, "I am so glad Seth said to Lisa that none of what she said about his family made any sense and seemed hateful #RHOSLC." Like Lisa has not accepted accountability she just speaking out her mouth now…like this apology just dug you deeper into a ditch #RHOSLC," pointed out a fan.
