FRANKLIN LAKES, NEW JERSEY: Melissa Gorga, an American businesswoman, and 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' star, faced backlash in her Instagram comments section on November 24 after revealing a glimpse of her most recent house renovations. “Foyer design Its all about simple elegance this time. The ceiling design is so simple yet so important,” the 43-year-old wrote alongside a video of her new “glam black fabric chandeliers.”

Can’t wait to show you inside.” However, it seems that her 2.7 million fans were unimpressed by the three enormous, studded light fixtures.

This week, Melissa and Joe Gorga, who have spent over a year creating their dream home, finally moved into their $950,000 Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, mansion. Just like their foyer, fans have a lot to talk about their new residence. It appears that the three enormous, studded light fixtures did not impress her 2.7 million fans.

"Up close they look pretty but from a distance, it appears as though you covered your lights with three huge garbage bags. Perhaps pictures and angles are not doing them justice," a user said. While a second chimed in, "It’s almost like Victoria’s Secret isn’t doing so well anymore so they decided to repurpose their holiday lingerie pieces into light fixtures." A third said while raising concerns, "I agree about the chandeliers catching dust. Also, I would have switched out the staircase railing with an iron railing. I don't think the oak matches the aesthetic of your home. My opinion only." "You are gorgeous… but the lamps are hideous," said another.

A fifth commented, "The houses exterior was strike one. This foyer is strike two. It looks staged to be a temporary photoshoot. This is just bad. Curious what architect and interior designer was used. Completely no sense of scale and sight lines." Another user posted, "Here we go again. Yes melissa, the reality tv world knows you have money from all your other photos of houses and cars. But you keep on posting more to show off your new diggs for likes and emojis. No matter how many likes you get it won’t cure your money insecurities." One more commented, “She better get her patronus ready dementors are coming."

Despite the scathing feedback, some individuals congratulated the alleged controversial couple on their "beautiful" home. With come commenting, "That entryway is gorgeous. love the floors and stairs. The chandeliers look like hair hanging from ceiling and are a no for me tho. But that’s the Beauty of interior design!! Getting to decorate and making your house a home as you see fit!" Another congratulated them by saying, "Love it Melissa looks stunning @melissagorga @joeygorga god bless." A third said, "your new home is EVERYTHING!! I love it" While a fourth posted, "Love that you pick things that are unique! Your own style and who gives AF what ppl think! Can’t wait to see the rest of the house"
