The age-old feud between the Gorgas and Giudices was once again reignited during the season 12 reunion of 'Real Housewives of New Jersey'. When Teresa Giudice revealed that she didn't want her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga to be her maid of honor but asked her future husband's sisters to be her maid of honor instead, it rubbed Joe Gorgas and Melissa the wrong way. Later when Teresa joined hands with co-star Jennifer Aydin in calling Joe a 'b**** boy' and questioned his role on the Bravo show, things got very messy.

A very angry Joe stormed off the sets threatening to quit the show. Though Teresa apologized to her brother, it looks like Joe isn't in a mood to let his sister off the hook so easily for disrespecting him. On Melissa's podcast 'Melissa Gorga On Display', Joe shared a piece of his mind on the podcast where he pointed out how Teresa's anger towards them being on the show is totally absurd. The Gorgas instead felt that they were owed a 'thank you' by the OG 'RHONJ' star for helping her family out financially while she was in the prison and her husband Joe Giudice was unemployed. Joe even went to the extent of saying that it was because of Melissa and him that Teresa's daughters aka his nieces had a home to live in and food on their table.

On her podcast, Melissa explained how she felt that Teresa should be grateful for helping out the family while she was in prison by keeping the 'core of the show going'. The housewife said, "When [Teresa] got out [of prison] we were able to cast all of these new people. We kept the core of the show going. It would have just turned into the show that she had for three episodes, which was [Teresa Checks In], which Joe Giudice did on his own.” Joe stepped in and declared that Melissa was being 'too nice' and decided to drop some truth bombs by claiming to have helped the Giudices stay afloat. Joe said, "How about ‘Thank you?' Because when she was in prison, Joe wasn’t working at all either. So they had no income. If we weren’t on the show, their kids would not still be living in that house and have food and have whatever they had.” Melissa added, "He needed to make money on that show and he needed someone to film with and here we were that jumped in. He had us to bounce off of and had someone to talk to on it.”

When fans heard the Gorgas' lofty claims, they took to Twitter to roast Melissa and Joe. A fan tweeted, "Joe and Melissa are really in the streets talking about helping Teresa's family keep a roof over their heads?? #RHONJ." "“Melissa and Joe kept #RHONJ going” Literally everyone:" wrote a fan. "Gia was right about joe and this all over you not being a bridesmaid Chile please sit down Melissa the only thing you have done on #RHONJ is that you opened envy and it shut down stop Teresa a 3 times best selling Author #thepeoplewannaknow #theinquiries," reminded a fan. "Melissa and Joe can stay pressed that they aren’t the stars of anything. Keep making sh*tty homes and running a boutique full of fake designer #rhonj," echoed a fan.
