MONTVILLE, NEW JERSEY: 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' star Joe Gorga recently turned to his Instagram to promote his upcoming comedy event, but fans seemed to not have been pleased with his skills as a comic.
The spouse of 'RHONJ' Melissa Gorga may have a construction background, but he's been enthusiastically pursuing a stand-up comedy career since 2019.
Joe Gorga promotes upcoming stand-up show with Mike Marino
On August 28, Joe Gorga took to Instagram to announce that he would be performing at a comedy event in October where he'll be reunited with Mike Marino, who he had performed with during his first-ever stand-up set.

"I'm Back! See you October 14th in Princeton, New Jersey!! Gonna be a fun night with [Mike Marino] !" wrote Joe on the Instagram post about the comedy event, which would take place at the Catch a Rising Star comedy club.
On September 19, Joe again took to Instagram, only this time he went live with Marino. In the caption, he wrote, "Just doing a little standup rehearsals tonight at my house with my Comedian, friends, Mike Marino and Joe Bartnick."
Fans quickly took to the comment section to troll the 'RHONJ' star. One wrote, "You and your wife give off desperation vibes. And you're not a comedian just because some drunks around you laugh at your garden gnome antics."
Another user chimed in, "An insult to real comics everywhere." One sighed, "Somebody please tell this man he's not funny and maybe try acting his age."
"Still waiting to hear something funny… train wreck tv," quipped a user, as one more snarked, "I'll send you some jokes."
A person simply added, "Stay off the shelf."

Frank Catania said on the 'Two T's in a Pod' podcast that he has provisionally agreed to host a show with the two Joes (Joe Gorga and Joe Benigno).
However, after word got out about what he claims was a smear campaign organized by Louie "Luis" Ruelas, talks with the other network fell through. Catania reiterated that he was not engaging with Bravo, Peacock, or NBC.
He also stated that a more conservative network did not want the drama to continue.
