'RHOD' star Brandi Redmond’s mother-in-law killed in car crash, 9-year-old daughter Brinkley found unharmed
Brandi Redmond of ‘Real Housewives of Dallas’ took to Instagram on October 10 to share the tragic news about the death of her mother-in-law Jill, who lost her life in a car crash. The reality star also revealed that her 9-year-old daughter Brikley managed to survive the crash, that left her unharmed.
Redmond shared, “My husband's beautiful mom has gone on to be with our Savior and my sister in laws said it best...so I PLEASE ask that you keep my family in your prayers during this difficult time and I ask that you lift my sweet Brinkley up as she continues to heal and that God protects her heart and eyes from this tragedy. I am so thankful for her life. This is probably the most thankful yet pain I’ve ever felt.”
She also re-shared posts by Jill’s daughters on their podcast Instagram page, along with the girls’ picture with their mother. Remembering their late mother, Jill’s daughters wrote, “This is our mom, Jill Marie Redmond. We spoke to her daily. To speak of her in past tense hurts beyond words. Hours ago we lost her in a tragic car accident. Thank you, Jesus, for saving our niece who was in the car with her. To know our mom was to love her. She was a shining light to all who were lucky enough to know her.”
“She felt so deeply. And she loved Jesus with all her heart. Her world was FAMILY. She loved her 4 children and many grand babies to the depths of her soul, and she left us doing what she loved most- caring for her grand babies. We are in shock and are experiencing an indescribable pain..” it read further.
Jill’s daughters also noted that they are going to pause their podcast ‘Girl, I Slept in My Makeup’ until they are ready to talk about the tragedy that’s left them distraught. They state towards the end of their post, “In our mom’s honor, if you have a living parent please tell them how much you love and appreciate them, and hug your loved ones extra tight tonight and always. We love you. Shine bright and spread love and kindness. Love & grace, Lauren, Megan & Kristen.”
The ‘RHOD’ star is married to Jill’s son Bryan Redmond, with whom she shares three kids: daughters Brooklyn and Brinkley, and sin Bruin, who they adopted in 2018.
Soon fans and followers of Redmond and Jill’s daughters’ podcast began sharing their condolences with the family. An emotional fan wrote, “Goodness, Goodness I am so deeply sorry. Your momma sounded like one hell of a woman. Cherish those sweet memories of her forever. RIP sweet momma.” While another added, “I am so very very sorry for your loss. May God comfort you all till you see her in Heaven again.”
And some were simply glad to know that little Brinkley was doing fine. “Sending love to you and your family, especially dear Brinkley. Love you all” shared one of them.
