'RHOC' star Shannon Beador gets 3 years probation for DUI, avoids jail after pleading no contest to 2 charges
ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA: Shannon Beador, 'The Real Housewives of Orange County' star, has been sentenced to three years of informal probation for her DUI case.
She was also ordered to complete 40 hours of community service, a nine-month alcohol program, and pay fines and fees.
Shannon Beador pleads no contest to DUI charges
Beador, 59, did not appear in court on Thursday, November 2, but her attorney pleaded no contest to one count of driving under the influence and one count of driving with a blood alcohol content of .08% or more, according to TMZ.
The Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer had argued that Beador deserved 30 days in jail for her actions, but the judge dismissed one count of hit and run resulting in property damage.
Shannon Beador crashed into a Newport Beach home in September
Beador was arrested in September after she drunkenly drove her car into a Newport Beach home and then fled the scene with her dog Archie.
Security camera footage showed her car speeding through the residential streets before hitting the house.
She, according to TMZ, then parked her car in the middle of the street and got out with her dog.
When police arrived and took her into custody, they saw she was wounded. She had fractured her left wrist and suffered cuts and bruising to her left eye in the crash.
The police also seized Beador's car as part of their investigation into the damage to the home.
Reports said that she had a .24% BAC after the accident. She, however, has since paid for the property damage she caused.

Shannon Beador's lawyer said she was 'extremely apologetic and remorseful'
Beador’s lawyer, Michael Fell, told TMZ at the time when she was arrested that his client was “extremely apologetic and remorseful” for her actions.
He said that she was "prepared to accept full responsibility for her actions."
Despite her legal troubles, Beador is committed to appearing at BravoCon in Las Vegas this weekend, according to RadarOnline.
The outlet mentioned the 'RHOC' star was still planning on traveling to Sin City, however, she is "slightly apprehensive" about facing her cast after the DUI and hit-and-run arrest.
